Dale Canning - President and CEO

Dale Canning is President and CEO of Premier Technical Communications. A co-founder of Premier, Dale has held various positions within the organization, from financial to operational, and from billable producer to senior executive. Now as the sole owner of Premier, Dale provides the organization with full executive leadership while still providing his skills and experience to Premier clients.

Performance support material development has been the focus of Dale’s career for nearly twenty years. As a former Master Training Specialist and curriculum developer for the US Navy, he gained invaluable experience in live, stand-up instruction and curriculum development for instructor-led training. He has since embraced the technology and techniques for distance-learning, with experience in the development interactive videodisc, computer-based training, video tape, and web-based media.

Dale has extensive experience in the area of process improvement, specifically in the areas of LEAN and Six Sigma. He was instrumental in the development of course for the Rochester Institute of Technology Center for Excellence in LEAN Enterprise, and the Six Sigma Academy, for which he created a course, entitled The Six Sigma Executive.

Dale is the Marketing Chair for the Greater Rochester Quality Council, Reviewer for the Empire State Advantage, Board Member-at-Large for the Greater Canandaigua Civic Center, and former Executive Board member for the Boy Scouts Otetiana Council.

He has a Bachelor of Business Administration (Summa Cum Laude) from the San Diego Campus of National University.


Stan Wantuck - Sr. Vice President, Operations

Stan joined Premier Technical in 1994 as a technical writer and instructional designer. Throughout his career, he has spearheaded innovative documentation and training efforts, including various forms of electronic documentation, help systems, and web-based training programs. Stan has been the lead developer and project manager for Xerox Corporation’s CentreWare software documentation and training deliverables, and has successfully supported Xerox multifunction office products, printer drivers, printer management software, office services, and network scanning/workflow applications for more than a decade.

In his current position as Sr. Vice President, Stan is responsible for production, quality and technology management and innovation at Premier. His operational responsibilities include project management, refining and developing effective work processes and standards, assessing and implementing new technologies, and fostering the development of employees, and providing products and services that exceed customer expectations.

His twenty-plus years of professional experience includes customers such as Xerox Corporation, Eastman Kodak, Science Research Associates (SRA), Microsoft Corporation, United Technologies - Pratt & Whitney, Harris RF Communications, New York City Transit Authority, US Central Intelligence Agency, ICS Learning Systems, Rochester Gas and Electric, and the American Red Cross. 

Stan is a 1982 graduate of Ithaca College, with a degree in Corporate and Organizational Media.


Mark Rider - Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Mark joined Premier Technical in 2004 after leaving a leading aviation and aerospace training company where he was an Executive Officer and served as a chief architect for the company’s brand, strategic relationships, product lines, and operational processes including the organizations courseware development methodologies.

Mark started his career designing and developing computer-based training programs in 1992. Over the next 15 years, he would be involved in hundreds of multimedia and e-learning projects covering with a wide range of high-tech customers, providing them with consulting, management, design, and development services.

Mark's design experience includes the areas of business communications, curriculum development, instructional design, information architecture, user-interface design, and human factors. Mark’s development experience includes advertising collaterals, electronic marketing demos, information systems, online help systems, e-learning programs and performance support systems for various large-scale, enterprise-wide applications. He has successfully implemented solutions on several media platforms including Internet, intranets, CD/DVD, wireless and print.

Mark has produced communication solutions for many Fortune 500 organizations including IBM, United Technologies, ITT Industries, General Electric, Xerox, Kodak, Merrill Lynch, Grant Thornton International, United Airlines, Airbus, and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Mark attended the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC.


Mike Antalek - Director of Technology

Mike has over 18 years of instructional program design and development of computer-based, web-based, and instructor-led training applications. Mike has a unique blend of instructional design and multimedia development expertise that allows him to excel in all areas of multimedia training development.

Mike has served as the lead designer and developer for many computer-based training applications for industry-leading corporations such as Xerox, Eastman Kodak, Ford Motor Credit, Goulds Pumps, and Pratt & Whitney.

In addition to training delivery, Mike also led the design and development of a sophisticated, proprietary learning management system (LMS) for one of Premier’s clients that could be configured for operation on the Web, Local Area Networks, or a stand-alone personal computer.

Mike has developed an intimate knowledge of many multimedia development tools including Flash, Dreamweaver, Director, Photoshop, Premiere, Vegas, Lightwave3D, Cinema4D, Visual Studio, and many more. Mike has developed learning support and business management applications in Java, C++, and C#.
